Seger + Langevin Engagement | Alms Park

I was so excited when Becky and Eric contacted me about photographing their wedding to be held in October.  I met both of them through our mutual participation on the Rusty Ball charity committee.  The Rusty Ball is a charity concert put on by The Rusty Griswolds at the Duke Energy Center each year.

As with all of my wedding clients, I prefer to photograph them during an engagement session to learn what poses work and which do not.  Lucky for me, everything worked with Becky and Eric.  Also, Becky saw the engagement session as an opportunity to test drive her bridal make-up, provided by Brideface.  She was simply beautiful.

There are few parks in Cincinnati as beautiful as Alms Park – it is one of the three Crown Jewels of the Cincinnati Park system.  Eric and Becky were quite comfortable in front of the camera and it was easy to see how comfortable they were with each other.  They laughed throughout the session and smiled until their cheeks were sore.  At the end of the evening, we were treated to a beautiful sunset that unfolded before us from the second story of the main pavilion within the park.  They selected that sunset portrait for their signature print at their wedding.

I’m really looking forward to participating in Becky and Eric’s wedding.
