For the fifth consecutive year, I have had the priviledge to lead the photography team for the Rusty Ball. This year, the venue was again in the lower ballroom at the Duke Energy Center. The demand for tickets has been so overwhelming the past two years, and this year was no different. The last count I heard on the day of the event was 3900.

I love field trips. When I was asked to take Sarah’s senior portraits, I knew I was going to see some beautiful areas of the country. We started in Oldenburg, IN, but we ended up on her grandparent’s farm. There nothing quite like a country girl photographed in her element. After taking a stroll through the the downtown streets of Cincinnati during the summer, I found many great locations to take senior portraits. When i was contacted to take Brendan’s senior pictures, I knew these locations would be perfect. It has been three months since Ryan’s last portrait session. We decided on a change of pace and held the session at Ault Park, the first Crown Jewel of Cincinnati’s Park System. Ault Park, in spite of the tough summer drought, was beautiful, with flowers in abundance. After seeing my portfolio, a friend from work recommended me to a family friend for portraits. Steve and Dave wanted a portrait for their parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. I jumped at the opportunity and met them on a rainy Sunday evening at Alms Park. |
