After seeing Valerie’s senior portraits, Corrine requested me to take her portrait as well. I’m so glad she did. When we moved from one location in Ault Park to another, I would take a test shot to make sure the lighting was perfect. Corrine was smiling during these test shots. I jokingly suggested she not waste her smiles on the test shots. I couldn’t help but smile in return when she replied, “I can smile all day.” She was right.
In spite of her age, Corrine carried herself with a confidence and grace I don’t typically encounter on senior portrait sessions. Her smile was welcoming and genuine, which made my job of capturing her natural beauty very easy.
The icing on the cake was that both of her parents attended the session. They could not have been nicer and we talked like we’ve known each other for years. What a great family.
