Senior Portraits | Ahern | Ault Park, Cincinnati

I was excited I when I got a call from Valerie’s mom to discuss taking her senior portraits. It feels like I just finished taking Alexa’s (Valerie’s sister) senior portraits. Valerie was so easy going and we had a great time walking around Ault Park, stopping at one of the endless picturesque settings to take a portrait. I encourage all of my seniors to bring several changes of clothes to provide a large gallery to choose from. Valerie did just that – bringing clothes that spanned from casual to classy formal.

2010 Rusty Ball | Duke Energy Center

For the past three years, the Rusty Griswolds hosted a charity concert to generate funds to support over 100 separate charities in the Greater Cincinnati area.  They receive requests all year long to play for various charities and unfortunately there just isn’t enough time in the year to meet the philanthropic demand.  Hence, the Rusty Ball. Wills + Wyatt Wedding | Lindenwald Church, Dearborn Country Club

October is almost over – where has the year gone?  Well, this past weekend, I had the honor of photographing the Wills-Wyatt wedding at Lindenwald Baptist Church.  Carl and Emily planned the wedding down to the last detail.  Emily chose a fall theme to her wedding, including pumpkins, gourds and colored leaves to accent the church and the reception space.  Carl, staying true to himself, chose a stylish tuxedo equipped with wingtip shoes – very retro.

Senior Portraits | Kate Cooper | Cox Arboretum, Dayton

When I was approached to take Kate’s senior pictures, I immediately thought of Cox Arboretum in Dayton, OH.  This 189-acre facility is free to the public and contains a wide variety of flowers and trees as well as several ponds on the property.  In the Spring, the colors from the flowers are so bright they almost hurt your eyes.  In the fall, the trees change colors at different times, giving you a great opportunity to experience Fall for many weeks.
